Sanctuary KidsCare is designed to foster learning for each child at the rate he or she is ready to experience. Content and classes are uniquely constructed so the needs of all children can be met. Similar curriculum topics are used for all ages, but the experiences provided are appropriate for the ages of the children as they grow and develop.
During free play, children can independently make choices for activities and playmates.
A combination of active play and times of quiet play and rest are incorporated within the schedule.
Intentionally planned activities are balanced between self-directed and adult-guided activities.
There are many opportunities for group experiences as well as one-to-one experiences.
Daily outdoor activities are planned, weather permitting. When children cannot go outdoors, indoor activities are substituted.
